Intro & New Features

Bauer's newest line of recreational skates feature the Chamonix Recreational Skates. Featuring a few new features including an artic warm liner, flat face, and gold j-hook eyelets. These skates come in the color chestnut and are anatomically molded to provide an overall better fit and skating experience.

Boot Construction

Constructed of an anatomically molded shell, these skates are the perfect option for recreational use. Being inspired by hockey skate design and winter skate design, these skates are a mixture of both worlds, which makes them comfortable. The shell is designed to wrap around your foot for support while not being too tight, still providing some support and protection while not missing any protection.

Skate Fit Profile

The Chamonix skates have a medium fit volume, with a regular width and come in sizes JR5/W6, M6/W7, M7/W8, M8/W9, M9/W10, M10, M11, and M12. The Chamonix skates is softer and more flexible then compared to a regular hockey skate, which makes them easier to skate in for skaters of all levels. These skates are not recommended for play in hockey or by particulary strong skaters, as they can break down easier.

Internal Liner

The comfort liner on the Chamonix skates is insulated to keep your feet nice and warm while skating. This liner is also well-cushioned, so your feet can avoid suffering from that soreness that tends to come with new skates.

Collar

The collar on these skates are constructed of a ribbed knit cuff. It is designed to provide comfort at all times while on your foot. Paired with an artic warm liner, these boots keep your feet warm while skating, even in those extreme temperatures.

Runner

These skates feature the Bauer pre-sharpened 1/2", 17" radius. They were designed to allow skaters who don't skate much, or as often, to have a solid choice on a recreational skate.

Tongue

The tongue has been foam reinforced for both increased comfort and protection against lace bite. The tougher, synthetic leather front piece further keeps your ankles protected from minor impacts or the cold.
